About WNS Boys Lacrosse

The WNS Boys Lacrosse program was established in 2002 and is organized as a co-op of Whitefish Bay, Nicolet, Shorewood, and Dominican high schools. The WNS Boys Lacrosse program’s varsity and junior varsity teams compete in the North Shore Conference under the WIAA. Practices and games are held at each of the co-op schools during the regular season, which typically begins in mid-March and ends in June.

Lacrosse is great for student-athletes who play football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and other sports. And, by playing lacrosse, student-athletes can further develop their speed, endurance, agility, strength, and precision that enhances their abilities in other sports.

Friends of WNS Boys Lacrosse promotes the program, recruits volunteers for game-day tasks like PA announcements, scorekeeping, and scoreboard maintenance to ensure smooth, WIAA-compliant games.
